Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic- formerly known as port harcourt poly is a federal government-owned higher institution located in Rumuola, River State.
Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuolahas the following mission to;
- Provide instruction and training in Sciences Engineering Technology, Environmental Sciences, Commerce, Applied Arts and Information and Communication Technology.
- Promote scholarship, consultancy and research in all fields of human endeavours.
- Provide Technical, Vocational, Scientific, and Entrepreneurial needs of individuals, industry and community.
- Prepare and groom its students for University and Professional Bodies requirement.
- Provide opportunity for distant learning for persons who desire to improve their academic qualifications while pursuing their regular jobs.
The Institution has developed to its present state with six Schools and over 20 Courses offered at National Diploma (ND) level, Higher National Diploma (HND) level as well as in Part time programme.
